What do we do here at Middle: Managed?

Welcome to Middle: Managed!

The inspiration for middle: managed came from my early middle management days of googling different versions of “how do I manage this difficult person or scenario?”. Guess what? I couldn’t find the answers I was looking for.

Everything was written for CEOs!

As I have gained experience, I have started writing the articles and advice that I was originally looking for. Instead of mentoring several aspiring leaders, I want to help thousands!

If you have questions or challenges with your middle management role: people management, planning, resource management, interviewing, or taking your first steps in this seemingly crazy new work of leadership – we’ve got you covered.

Where to start my Middle: Managed journey?

If you have ever been completely frustrated by searching for answer to a problem, and come up with people agreeing that it is a challenge – and then giving half answered advice (just fire them!)- you’re in luck here.

This website features blog posts that not only discusses a variety of issues facing middle managers – it provides realistic advice on how to solve them.

At Middle: Managed we recognize that a one-size solution does not fit all. Not every workplace is the same, and not every employee has the same abilities or motivations. That’s why we have different solutions for every problem based on research. We will let you know which pieces of advice have been personally ‘field tested’ as well. We also pass along some of our own leadership mistakes so that you can avoid them. We have learned things the hard way so that you don’t have to!

There is also downloadable content where you can access templates designed with middle management tasks in mind. Hey, we’ve got you!

The Middle Manager has the most difficult role in an organization.  It is the goal of middlemanaged.com to provide resources to navigate the demands from the top and bottom of the organizational chart.

Consider this role in the middle: managed.
